May 27th - The international presentation of the straits of Messina bridge has been started in New York.It is the first stage of the roadshow, which is supposed to call also at Tokyo and London. The Straits of Messina Spa Summit, lead by Mr. Pietro Ciucci, Managing Director, have explained the huge work, which shall be completed within 2012, to the American Financial Community during a meeting held at the Plaza Hotel. "We are here- Mr. Ciucci Said- to give you all the information on the project, from a technical and economic-financial point of view and, in particular, to confirm that the work is going to be fulfilled. The bid to find out the general contractor, to be responsible for the whole design, has been already made public. By the entrance in the city of the "legendary" Brooklyn Bridge, the Italian Company will make all details of the project known to everybody, trying to involve any investors and company concerned to be part of it, both from the industrial and the financial side. "We wish and hope- Mr. Ciucci said, talking about the roadshow, which is going to stop also in Tokyo and London- to have a very huge world-wide involvement. The general contractor will be selected through a bid, open to any international companies, with no geographical restrictions. "We would like to raise a wide interest on it - he also said- we will come back many times to the United States to show the results " and to start a capitals collection, stirring the financial markets and international investors participation".
